Fruits and Vegetables

Picture
Potatoes, lettuces, cabbage, carrots, cantaloupe, tomatoes, onions, strawberries, pumpkins, corn...  we grow most anything that is on your weekly shopping list.   For a full list of what is in season right now check out our current produce list.
Even though the produce we have available may vary throughout the season, one thing definitely remains true: everything you buy from us was grown organically and was grown with our own hands.  Raised without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or fertilizers our produce is not just fresh, healthy and tasty - it's also safe for the environment, your family, and our posterity.

Vermont Grown Ruby Red Popcorn

Picture

Simply put, the best tasting popcorn we know.  Our organically grown Ruby Red Popcorn pops as white as snow, has a wonderfully nutty flavor and harkens back to a day when popcorn wasn't made in a microwave.  We'd certainly never be so bold as to tell people what they can and can't eat, but as we like to say, it's "Too Good for Butter!"  Try it lightly sprinkled with a little coarse salt and see if you agree.
In addition to our regular farmers markets and farmstand, you can find our popcorn year-round at South Royalton Market, Upper Valley Food Co-op and Woodstock Farmer's Market.

Hay

When we're not busy growing tasty organic veggies we like to squeeze in a little haying on our back fields and a few neighboring farms.  All told we hay 75 acres each year and put up about 5,000 square bales that are for sale to local horse farmers, shepherds, dairy farms, home gardeners or anyone else looking for top quality hay.  Whether you're a hobbyist, or a full-time rancher, we've likely got the quality hay you're looking for at a competitive price.  Though our hay is not certified as organic through the state certifying body, we do make all of our hay in a sustainable manner in line with the ecological principles of our farm.
